Natalie Cox is originally from Fredericksburg Virginia, and graduated from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in the concentrations of drawing and painting. She works primarily with acrylic paint and ink on canvas or paper to create both small and large-scale abstract landscapes.
In 2018 she was chosen to display her work at the University of Alabama’s Annual BFA Juried Exhibition at Harrison Galleries in Tuscaloosa. In 2019 she was given the opportunity to participate in the University’s Library Showcase by creating two large-scale temporary mural paintings on the walls in Gorgas Library. Natalie recently completed her Graduating Senior Thesis Exhibition, which was displayed from November 11-28 2019 in the Sella-Granata Art Gallery in Tuscaloosa.
